Job Description
Dive in with your passion for hard surface asset creation to execute mechanical designs for a new and exciting IP. Equipped with your knowledge of how mechanical things function, and your meticulous attention to detail; you will bring unique designs from concept to reality.
This is a remote contract position for 2-4 months working on an unannounced PC title.
Responsibilities

Create believable and inspiring hard surface mechanical assets

Create game ready meshes with efficient UV layouts
-
Work with Art Leads and Art Director to ensure that designs fit within the style of the IP
Qualifications
-
Portfolio demonstrating high quality hard surface modeling and texturing proficiencies
-
Understanding of standard workflows and processes
-
Excellent ability to create highly efficient real time assets
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Available bandwidth to adhere to schedules and meet tight deadlines
Pluses
-
UE4 knowledge
-
Ability to produce simple rigs
-
Experience researching, piloting and rolling out new techniques

Proficiencies with:

Maya

Substance Painter
-
ZBrush
