Job Description


Dive in with your passion for hard surface asset creation to execute mechanical designs for a new and exciting IP. Equipped with your knowledge of how mechanical things function, and your meticulous attention to detail; you will bring unique designs from concept to reality.

This is a remote contract position for 2-4 months working on an unannounced PC title.


  • Create believable and inspiring hard surface mechanical assets

  • Create game ready meshes with efficient UV layouts

  • Work with Art Leads and Art Director to ensure that designs fit within the style of the IP


  • Portfolio demonstrating high quality hard surface modeling and texturing proficiencies

  • Understanding of standard workflows and processes

  • Excellent ability to create highly efficient real time assets

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Available bandwidth to adhere to schedules and meet tight deadlines


  • UE4 knowledge

  • Ability to produce simple rigs

  • Experience researching, piloting and rolling out new techniques

  • Proficiencies with:

    • Maya

    • Substance Painter

    • ZBrush
